Vintage Spring Wedding Inspiration

Planning a spring wedding?  Looking to create a vintage vibe?  Check out this inspiration!

A "vibe" is different than a themed event, in our opinion.  Thoughtful details working in harmony can create a cohesive look and feel that - in this case - has a vintage vibe, without being campy.

We styled this look just as the Vermont hills were coming to life again and the lilacs were in full bloom.  A pastel palette of lavender and green was perfect for locally foraged lily of the valley, viburnum, lilacs, ajuga, Solomon's seal, and violets.  Pansies and freesia added to the focal flowers.

It was fun to include my 1962 Chrysler Newport!  Classic cars can be a great way to add to the visual aesthetic of your special day and create a vintage mood - add in the retro birdcage veil and it's a done deal!

We focused on a delectable buffet of breakfast-oriented pastries from BakeAria...the vintage vibe came from milk glass serving vessels.  The green at the Round Old Church in Richmond, Vermont was the idyllic backdrop for it all.  Notice the bouquet...a simple posy can steal the show!

Be Inspired,
