Summer on the Mountainside
Kathryn & Lincoln were married on a blissful July afternoon at Jay Peak Resort. The lush, rolling "Green Mountainside" was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Warm sunshine accentuated the joy in the air.
Kathryn chose to focus exclusively on flowers for her decor. We played into the natural sense of place and Kathryn & Lincoln's love of the outdoors with lots of flowers and greenery. Many of the flowers and botanicals were sourced through our beloved local growers. Focal flowers included peonies, roses, astilbe, sweet peas, and dahlias. Armloads of eucalyptus, ruscus, and sword fern brought the look together. The combined fragrance of stock, Blushing Parasol spray roses, locally grown peonies and sweet peas, combined with eucalyptus was captivating. Blushy florals were stunning against Kathryn's classic white gown, the men's navy suits, and the women's slate blue gowns. We added pops of coral and fuchsia to bring visual interest to the reception arrangements.
I'm particularly fond of the arbor decor and Kathryn's delicate bouquet. What about you?
