Summer Wedding on the Lake

July 30th was a perfect summer day.
The sun was shining, the air was warm,
a light breeze moved across the lake...
and Carolyn & Fergal tied the knot!
I loved bringing their alfresco summer vision to life.

Thanks to Jaclyn Schmitz Photography for these stunning photos!

Carolyn wanted local flowers featuring bright, bold colors and textures.
I harvested buckets of fresh blooms from our favorite local grower
and assembled carefree arrangements in an assortment of glass and ceramic vessels.

The ceremony and celebration took place on the shores of Lake Champlain at
All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne, Vermont.
The setting was pastoral and serene, Vermont summer at it's finest!

Carolyn's bouquet featured an assortment of blooms and textures
including zinnias, dahlias, ranunculus, snapdragons, astilbe, veronica,
scabiosa pods, tweedia, bachelor buttons, and grasses.

We love a good summer wedding, how about you?

Creatively Yours,
Sarah Jo
